Currently overseeing 380 million square feet of space, Brookfield Properties is adding a new collection of homes to their Nexton community.

New Leaf Builders announced its “high-quality, boutique production-style homes,” the Piedmont Home Collection, with construction to begin soon, according to a news release from Nexton.

The Summerville community’s new homes will be offered with five open floor plans, ranging from 1,606 to 2,102-square-feet, according to the release. The floor plans are single-story and multi-level.

The Piedmont Collection will join the Midtown neighborhood, offering more than 100 floorplans as well as Midtown Club, resort-style pool and fitness center, according to the release.

“As a Charleston-based home builder, New Leaf Builders is committed to designing high-quality homes with Lowcountry-inspired designs and features to create an elevated way of living,” John Sweeney, the sales manager at New Leaf Builders, said in the release.

Prices for the homes begin in a $400,000 to $500,000 range, the release said. Nexton has sold more than 3,200 homes with more than 10,000 residents.

Brookfield Properties, which manages Nexton, is active in multiple types of real estate including office, retail, multifamily, hospitality and logistics, the release said. The company operates more than 800 properties and 380 million square feet of space.

New Leaf Builders was established in 2010 and has earned 13 awards for its homes, according to the New Leaf Builders website.

“We are thrilled to expand our presence in Nexton and introduce the Piedmont Collection to Nexton’s residents and other potential homebuyers,” Sweeney said in the release.
