A Summerville construction company is expanding its state footprint with the acquisition of an Upstate operation.
Knight’s Cos. and its precast concrete division, Knight’s Precast, has acquired MST Concrete Products Inc., according to a news release. Knight’s Precast will open its newest locations at 1588 18 Mile Road, Central, and 4110 Old Greenville Hwy., Pendleton.
This acquisition satisfies the vision of continued growth for Knight’s Cos. in the concrete construction industry, the release stated.
Knight’s Precast currently serves the Midlands, Lowcountry and Coastal markets of South Carolina, as well as Southeast Georgia, with two plants located in Summerville, and Richmond Hill, Ga., according to the release.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Knight’s Cos. offers septic, ready-mixed concrete, precast concrete, trucking and concrete pumping services, as well as steel reinforcement products to commercial and residential customers in South Carolina and Georgia.
