A Target-anchored shopping center in Lexington sold recently for $2.68 million.

NAI Columbia’s Ben Kelly and Patrick Chambers closed the sale of the 27-acre site on Augusta Highway in Lexington. The site will be developed into the Lexington Marketplace Shopping Center, a retail destination featuring of 208,000 square feet of retail space and six outparcels, according to an NAI Columbia news release.

“This development represents a major milestone in Lexington’s continued growth,” Chambers said in the news release. “Its prime location along Augusta Highway in one of the area’s fastest growing corridors makes it an ideal site.  We look forward to seeing how it enhances the surrounding community.”
